Profiles

Profiles allow you to specify different tracking configurations for different locations and times.

📜 General Rules

• When you add a profile, Rotom will set the area and/or location to match your currently active profile.
• Tracking is done on a profile level; tracking commands you send will only apply to the profile you currently have active.
• If you want to track the same things across all profiles, you must sync them using the copyto command.
• !tracked will only display your area/location and what you are tracking for your currently active profile.

➡️ Commands

!profile

Followed by an existing profile name, sets it to your active profile

!profile add

Followed by a name (i.e. "home") creates a profile with that name; can only create one profile at a time, and only picks up a single string of characters (i.e. if you want to create a profile for "ale house" you would need to enter alehouse or ale_house)

!profile remove

Followed by an existing profile name, removes that profile; can only remove one profile at a time

!profile copyto

Followed by an existing profile name, copies the tracking of your current active profile to the named profile. Followed by all, copies the tracking to all profiles. This command does not change tracked area, location, or activation time(s) of the profiles. This overwrites all tracking of the profiles you're copying to, it does not merge profiles.

!profile list

Displays a list of your profiles with their activation times (if set); current active profile is indicated with an asterisk

!profile settime

Followed by an activation time, sets the activation time for your currently active profile; see below for syntax

✏️ Activation Time Syntax ✏️

[day of the week][time] Activation time can be set with a day of the week without a time; this will activate that profile at 12AM (0:00) of the specified day. A profile will remain active until another one is set to become active, or you manually change them. Every 10 minutes the system checks if a profile was due to activate, and sets it.

• !profile add home : Creates a profile named "home"
• !profile settime weekend19:15 : Sets the activation time of the current profile to 7:15 PM on Sat and Sun
• !profile work : Sets the current active profile to "work"
• !profile copyto all : Copies the tracking of your current active profile to all profiles
